I've been working on this staircase at Joris Laarman Studio. Actually it is a bookshelve of 5,60m high, with a metal skeleton, poly-concrete stairs and glassed walls. It has a door at its bottom to enter it, and a spiral stair to allow the user to go up. Shelves are disposed all around the staircase, making every spot accessible as the user is in the stairs. I worked on the design ( metal web structure, stairs..., and also the 3D modeling and rendering of the concept. One on my final rendering was published in an article about Joris Laarman works in the Financial Times.
